Is it possible to add a pagination feature to specific pages?

I have 20 or more gallery's under a single category. How can I paginate these to fit 9 or so per page, and offer a link to the next page, or back?

I would also like to see this as part of the template for SHOW ALL THUMBS as showing 200 plus thumbs on a single page is a bit much, but I like the thumbs view.

any pointers in the right direction are a step closer then where I am now.
thanks.

I don't believe that there is any built-in way to make pages like you describe - but maybe subcategories will help.

Are you using subcategories at all in the category where you have a large number of galleries?

It looks like Groups is a category. And then each item within Groups is a gallery. You have another level available to you - you can have subcategories within a category. So it looks like:
>>> category >>> subcategory >>> gallery
Here's a suggestion that may or may not work for you. But maybe it will help the creative grouping...

Within Groups, create subcategories and assign galleries to the subcategories:

Birthdays
Graduations
Amazing images (for galleries like Sunflowers, Fireworks, best of the rest
Florida Hospital Church
etc.
That would give you an entry to Groups with a much smaller number of choices. The viewer could then select the subcategory that will lead to the galleries.

I only use subcategories in one of my categories - Travel. I use html-only pages instead of smugmug's category pages, so if you select Travel from my Gallery page it might be harder to see. But - here are links to both pages as examples.

Travel page as visible by clicking the Travel link from my Gallery page: http://www.denisegoldberg.com/gallery/4859072_Z5YkN

I think you can see that using the standard Travel category page I still have too many galleries showing - just wanted to show you an example of the use of subcategories. I am actually iin the process of grouping my travel galleries in my html-only page event further to lessen the number of items shown on entry to that page.
